This is a gift for my daughter. She likes it and it’s so much fun to fly it. Need to follow the instruction for some setup but the it is quite straightforward. As a beginner it’s easy for me to learn to control it but not with windy weather. There are some fun features like 360 flip over. Also, it can connect to a cell phone to take broad view video. Need more practice on this function but should be a lot fun. Overall, I’m very happy with this drone for this price. It comes with a nice carrying case. Plan to bring it when having some outdoor activities for some view videos.
Great Customer Service and Easy to Learn.

This product was a great present for my daughter's birthday. I'm extremely happy with the purchase, but there was a hiccup. After flying it about 4 times on different days to learn, we finally decided to try to hook up the camera feature. On this day something so bizarre happened....... Upon turning the drone on and hitting the one button take off button, the drone fly up up and away!!!! It went straight up and stopped responding to the remote or never really did on this day. It went straight up and disappeared. You'd be amazed at how you can lose a black object in a clear blue sky, but that's how high it went. It disappeared never to be seen again. It was extremely easy to use up to this point, but now it was lost. After reading the reviews, it has happened to others and I reached out to the manufacturer. They sent a replacement fast and that's what's pictured here. So if nothing else, this was Great customer service. That alone made me give them 5 stars overall.

The item is outstanding. Very Nice carry on bag and easy assemble product. All major parts are clip on/off design makes short preparation time for take off. Wifi streaming, not bluetooth enables additional stability in signals. Also fast shipping and handling, very nice packages. The user menu can be improved with more instructions in flying control or providing Youtube links. Still, a great product for the price range. Recommend to have.
Flying it at night is very COOL!

Well the promo video really nailed us. We order right after watched the video. lol
You gotta fly this at night!! My son loves it! He own another one from Holy Stone so he was flying it without reading the manual. For him, the most exciting thing is the 3D flip which he cant wait to show off to his buddies. And the cool leds... Is funny how those features make kids more exciting than the 1080P recording...
The carrying case is awesome. Is really well made which the case alone would worth half of the cost! And same as last one the extra battery for extra fun!!
The quality for the price is great. Keep the good work Holy Stone!

This is a fun consumer grade drone. It has enough speed to be fun, without being a twitchy mess for those that are not hard core into drone racing. I only dabble, so i do not get into the hobby grade drones, just the normal level drones for us everyday folks. I own several in this size class, as well as the next size down (5-6 inch). I am no expert, but I do enjoy one remote control fun with my kids on the weekends. Here are some of my thoughts on this new drone I recently picked up.
Packaging/Case - Item cam well packed. Being that this kit includes a carrying case, that would be assumed, but it sometimes does not happen as cleanly as it could. The drone fits well within the case, and the case is a good balance between size and safety for the drone. The drone comes with 2 batteries, case with fitted padding, blade guards, landing gear, controller, and spare parts (which is nice). Everything fits well in the carrying case, though you do need to remove the blade guards from the drone and the cell phone holder from the controller. The blade guards are easy to attach and remove, unlike some drones, so removing to pack it up is not as big of a chore as it is with others. I did have to hunt down a couple of the guards after a rough landing in the grass, so the ease does come with a little trade-off. Having the case really is a great bonus. I usually end up having to find a box to keep all the parts in so they do not get lost or mixed up with other parts. This case really does just make it so easy and simple to have everything together and ready to go. I really like it.
Drone - The drone has a large camera on the bottom for video, and it uses the drone battery, so no additional batteries needed for it. And the battery for the drone has really come a long way over the past for years. Gone are the wired plugs that you used to have to fiddle with, that eventually broke. These batteries just snap into the body of the drone with a built-in connector. Charging is super simple as well. No more custom charging adapters, meaning multiple adapters if you had multiple drones. These batteries just use a standard micro-USB plug like most cell phones. You are also not required to have the battery in the drone to charge. Just plug in the battery and wait for it to charge. The elevation for the camera can be adjusted for filming different styles, though not during flight, it must be adjusted by hand. The camera can also be removed altogether if you don't want it installed.
Controller - The controller feels solid in your hands, and is not to big or too small. The labeling on the buttons on the top are clear, which can be a challenge with some drones to figure out what the different buttons do. Labels on the 2 finger buttons would be good though. The pairing is standard for this type of drone, and super quick. The phone older is one point i was worried about before trying it. I have had a couple other video drones in the price range, and the phone holder that attaches to the remote was just not good, especially if you had a larger phone (smaller than Galaxy Note, but on the larger side of cell phones, the Note is just too big). But this one holds by LG v40 just fine and is VERY secure in the grip. I have no concerns about it popping out of the holder like my previous drone. And the holder can be popped off the controller if you don't want live video feed.
Flight - This is really the smallest size of drove I would consider capable to fly outside. Smaller drones "can" do it sometimes, but once there is a breeze, they get blown around. This size of drone does also get blown around, but once you bump up the speed level, it has enough power to counter the breeze, and be able to fight against it. Not to say you cannot lose control, because you still can fairly easily and trim cannot fight a decent breeze or slight gust, but it does have enough power for you to manually fight the breeze. The front/back lights are easily seen, even on a bright sunny day, and when the battery gets low, all light flash, and it is clear that it is time to land and recharge, or quickly swap to the other battery pack and keep having fun.
Video - The install of the software went very smoothly by following the directions. Once installed, there were no directions for using the software, but it was intuitive enough to get it running with a couple button presses. The live video feed is good for aiming for pictures or videos, but not a quick enough feed to be able to fly it by the live feed, unless going very slowly, and likely only indoors, as a gust of wind can blow it off course and it can crash before you know what is going on. The does not apply to the recorded video. The recorded video is stored on the phone (not the drone) and is smooth and does not have any of the hiccups that you can sometimes see in the live feed.
Hopefully this is helpful to those of you out there looking at this drone. It is fun to fly. For the casual drone flier like myself, this is a great option, and enough features for you to know if this is something you should get more into. Not a lot of gimmicky stuff, just usable reasonable feature set for great casual drone flying at a very reasonable price.
