Easy to use as a first time flier

I have had a little over a month to learn to fly. I found the instructions clear and concise. As a first time flier, it is important to check you local airspace to confirm if you can fly. I discovered we live too close to a heliport, so there are flight restrictions near our home. We could only fly at altitudes under 500 feet.
Once we practiced with start up, and shut down, we were quickly flying within 15 mins. The video is our second flight. I was impressed with how easily we were able to get off the ground.
One other item we discovered was the drone is more control at the higher speed. We started running at the max level, and found we could better maneuver around the area.
I would definitely recommend this drone for new users. The entry point is low,so you can feel comfortable allowing you children to also play and learn. Fun for the whole family.

Beginner friendly drone!

For the price, this is a great beginner drone! It comes with a well-made carrying case that helps protect the drone and fits everything from the controller to the extra battery and drone itself perfectly. This case made it very easy to carry to places without having to worry about damaging anything! Another thing i like about this is that they come with quite a few of spare parts for you to use if anything is broken/ damaged.

Before this, i only have a tiny toy drone so this is my first "real" drone and i'm loving it! Instructions are very easy to follow includings what comes in the package, how to connect to the controller, how to calibrate the gyro, and also detailed information abuout how to control the drone, etc. This also comes with a removable camera which can be installed or removed easily. This camera doesn't need extra battery since it is sharing the drone battery which is a plus since there will be less part to worry about. Controller on the other hand is also very easy to use with marker to tell you exactly which buttons are for which. But because this is a beginner drone, don't expect too much on picture/ video quality. Other than that, this is a great beginner drone.

Awesome Drone for just starting out

Was hesitant at first to buy my 5 year old a drone for Christmas. I had read a lot of complaints on other drones reviews, of them being hard to fly. My son is 5 and got the hang of it by the second day.

The battery life is true to what it says but with extra batteries it hasn't been an issue. I am very pleased with this drone and all its functions. The 360 flip is in even better then I thought it would be. The remote isnt to bulky fits good in your hand and the camera is an awesome feature as well.

**Update 1/5/21** Received my replacement drone from Holy Stone. Their customer service is spot on. Opened the new drone and it works flawlessly.

**original review **Received my new drone assembled it easy enough. Powered it up and only 2 blades would spin. Contemplated returning it to Amazon but decided to contact Holy Stone customer service spoke with a very pleasant young lady who was able to direct me to send a video of the blades not spinning. Was advised they will either replace the motors or the whole unit will update upon resolution. There customer service alone makes me more at ease about the purchase.

I bought this for my little brother, and he has loved it so far! It doesn't work very well when it's windy, but when the weather is at its best, this drone works fantastic! It takes some time to getting used to the controls. The image and video quality are great. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this drone because it is easy to assemble and easy to control, once you get the hang of it. The instructions manual is very helpful, so this is a great drone--especially for beginners.
