Portable and well protected pack

My first impression of this drone is the package. It comes with form protection and portable carrying bag. The drone is well protected.
Secondly, the drone comes with a second battery which makes it good to play for a longer time outdoor. The drone also comes with disassemble blade protector. I like the function of disassemble idea, so I have choice to add it or not.
The quality of the picture taken by the drone is well acceptable for beginner.

I bought the drone for my little brother and he loves it very much. It's easy for beginner to learn, and the weight of the stone is light, it's convenient to take the drone out with the original carrier case.

Reliable, basic, entry-level hobbyist drone. Not a "toy" drone.

This is a high quality entry-level hobbyist drone. It is NOT a "toy" drone for small children. I have several entry-level drones and I like this one a lot because it comes with a well-made carrying case, it does not fold, and the controls are straightforward, responsive, and reliable. The camera quality is solid but not spectacular, commensurate with the price point. Taking it out of the box, the manual provides easy instructions to pair the controller, calibrate the gyro, and get the drone in the air. It does come with two batteries, 4 AA batteries are required for the controller. I recommend purchasing some NiMH rechargeable batteries if you are going to get into any kind of drone or hobby electronics! Once you get the drone calibrated, you can download the app to your phone for camera view and control. The attached video shows the responsiveness of the controller, which is decent quality. I particularly like the trim control, which is very important for these entry level drones without GPS. Only a few seconds worth of trim adjustment had the drone hovering steadily, although there was some wind and this kind of drone will not deal well with wind. In short, I recommend this drone highly.

The drone is very nice. It was delivered one day after we ordered it in a very attractive carrying case. It is worth more than the $60.00 price tag. It is very easy to maneuver with the remote control. The only downside is that while flying, we lost one of the propeller guards and off balanced the drone. I highly recommend it.

Great quality beginner drone. The presentation and care of holy Stone products are top notch. I own three holy Stone drones and can say that you get a lot of features without breaking the bank.

Pros: the drone is protected be a very high quality case that is custom cut for this specific drone. It has extra compartments for extra batteries. I recommend getting more batteries as the maximum flight time is 10 min for each battery. The drone is easy enough to fly for beginners. It helps build confidence by teaching the beginner how to truly fly a drone without too much automation. The quality of video is decent for the price and the removable camera can move manually adjusted up and down prior to flight. You are still getting HD quality and FPV that allows you to connect to your drone camera in real time. Video is saved onto an free app for your phone and:or a SIM card slot on the camera.

Light weight drone and removable prop guards allows the beginner to make mistakes. I crashed the drone a few times and it was so sturdy that it survived all the crashes with virtually no damage other than a few minor scratches that I wiped off. So many features packed in this drone.

Cons: the drone is lightweight so outdoor flying requires a calm day OR if you are a skilled drone pilot, you are able to control the drone in high speed which is enough to fly against a medium breeze. Otherwise flies great indoors.

Battery life is only ten minutes but they provide two batteries which quickly switch out and charge in about an hour.

Not a cinematic video drone. If you’re looking for great video stability and smooth motions required for cinema quality video, this may fall short of your expectations. What the camera IS good for is is being able to view in FPV but you can still get good video if you keep the drone steady.

In summary, there are a lot of drones out there at different price points. Holy Stone makes quality drones for those who want to start flying for the first time or seasoned pilots who enjoy the quality and price of their drones. This particular drone is great for someone who is a beginner/intermediate who just enjoys the pure fun of piloting s drone and reviewing fun video after.
