I wanted to buy a drone, so I looked on Amazon. I had a certain price point I had to stay at. I purchased the Holy Stone HS 110, after finding this done was packed with features common in much more expensive drones. Although I haven't had a chance to fly it yet due to health, so far I am very happy with it. Inside the outer box, was a beautiful and sturdy carrying case, which even had a shoulder strap. The drone and accessories were very securely and neatly nestled inside. The HS110 is lightweight, but felt sturdy. To charge the drone and control, they plug into the wall with the included USB (phone type) cord. I wish another charge cord and wall plugs would have been included, so both the drone and controller could be charged at the same time.
I have heard great things about Holy Stone's customer service. WOW! I heard right. I was in contact with their CSR Rose. She was nothing short of amazing. She was very caring about my issue and took immediate ownership. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. My issue was solved quickly and I was very satisfied. I have to give her 10 stars! Thank you Rose.

This little drone rocks. It is stable from the GPS. It flies like a champ for its size. I had a blast flying it. Do not fly on windy days it is really light weight. It held the 5+ mph wind today but struggled a bit. It functions as it should make sure to have a micro sd in it, if it saves to phone it drops to 720p . I would recommend as a great beginner drone or just all around good drone to fly. The flight time will vary based on if you are recording and the conditions. I got 10 min in the light wind and 8 when recording the whole time. Make sure to read and understand the instruction on calibrating.

A must have for all beginners!!!

I love this drone. Everything from the awesome case to the very easy to use interface. Drone flies steady and is easy to control. I also love the option of 3 speeds. It takes clear photos and shoots clear videos. The wifi range is awesome. If you watch the video, you can see how high it was and I was still streaming the wifi video.... and with no lags!!! This drone can grow with you and your experience level. The only down fall is tou have to charge the battery while it is in the drone so make sure you have fully charged batteries. The average flight time was about 18min on each battery. Not bad... If you are interested in flying drones and the large price tags scare you, then look no further. This is the perfect drone for you.

This is my first drone and I had a lot of fun with it. I started in the "beginners" mode so that I could learn how to fly it correctly. The directions and, control box and drone are all easy to use. This drone is sold at a reasonable price. I like the camera feature, but please don't tell my neighbors! By the way, both the control box and the drone recharge fast. You'll like this drone.

My impressions on the HS110G can be summed up in two (2) words FUN and COOL. It’s a great drone weighing less than .55 lbs (therefore in the US it does not have to registered) that is fun to fly. It responded well to the controls making it fun to fly and impressive. The camera is crazy good for such a small camera and records to both a micro SD card and your smart phone. Attach are both pictures and a video (as you can see the live pictures and video were shot on a gray day with little contrast with the full 110 degree angle).
Observations:
Documentations on most drones or cryptic at best but the manual is pretty good and more important large enough to read and is informative. I read it and glad I did as there were some significant differences between this drone and my others. It came in a very nice bag with everything there you need ready to fly. An interesting thing – there is no battery charger. Both the drone and the transmitter are charged by a USB connection directly to either the drone or transmitter. Therefore there are no batteries required for the transmitter. Not to be over looked, just behind the back of the camera, there is a mirco SD slot. There is no mention of it in the manual.
How did it fly? The short answer it’s an easy drone to fly. Just be sure and follow the well laid out start up procedures for the pairing, calibrate the compass and gyro. A cool feature when flying outside with GPS (recommended) on and there isn’t enough strength for the GPS to lock on, it will not let you fly. Yes, you can turn the GPS off and it will fly but give yourself a lot of open space as it will drift. There is a trim procedure to correct the drift if you want to fly without GPS outside (not recommended). GPS is not recommended for flying indoors.
Pictures and video: See the included video and pictures. I was impressed especially when you consider these have not been touched up and shot on a gray day, with minimum contrast.
Features not mention and found in the app. Be sure and download the app – it’s free. The gesture feature is in the app but not mention in the manual. Be sure and familiarize yourself with all the cool features this drone can do.
In summary: Super cute drone and performs very well. I like that if you are new to drones it defaults to beginner’s mode – nice feature. Don’t try to fly it on windy days as it just doesn’t have the weight and even with GPS on it can be pushed around. I have not tried to fly it indoors so I cannot comment on how well it performs indoors. If you do be sure and turn the GPS feature off.
Last but not least when you buy a Holy Stone drone is the excellent after sells service. Speaking from experience the customer service representatives at Holy Stone are the best you will encounter – in my opinion.
Happy flying – you’ll love this drone. It’s a blast to fly, the RTH feature works better than expected. It all it exceeded my expectations.
