Fun GPS drone for beginners

This drone is fun to fly. Very quick acceleration and turning, it actually took me by surprise how quickly this thing took off and got to altitude. I was able to get it pretty high before I got nervous about losing it. It’s very lightweight, so not extremely wind resistant. I would be careful to use it in the wind, and try to find a calm day to fly. However, it’s fast enough IMO that it still handles decently when there’s some wind, since it can fly fast enough to overcome it.
Ok, now for the cons. I was a little disappointed to learn that you have to plug the whole drone in to charge it. Even though the battery is removable, you can’t just charge the battery by itself. This means you have to find room on the counter or somewhere to place the entire drone to charge. It did have a pretty decent flight time on one charge though. I was happy about that. Also the camera is not movable, so you can only take video or pictures while the nose of the craft is down, unless you want panoramas or shots of the horizon - which is fine. The video quality was decent, it's advertised as 2K and that may be true. I watched a video I took on my phone and was fairly impressed at the quality. There was some pixelation if you were wanting to zoom in close or something, but overall, it was a decent picture.
The GPS function worked alright. It was a little difficult to calibrate the GPS initially, but I was able to use the return to home button after the drone got out of my sight line once, and it came back on its own. That was neat. One feedback I would give the seller on this model, is to maybe secure the battery differently. I did land hard once, and the battery popped out of the back. No harm to the drone or battery, but I feel it could probably be secured a little better. Overall, happy with this drone for a beginner flying, especially if you don’t want to break the bank on one of the more high-tech expensive drones out there.
