This drone is amazing. I was leaning towards getting a DJI drone but I didn't have the money. I am super impressed with this drone and absolutely love it. The GPS works great and it holds up really well in wind due to its size and weight. HolyStone will always have my business!!

I received the Holy Stone HS100 drone as a gift from my wife and kids. I haven't had a chance to learn a whole lot about flying it, however, as I was vexed by a problem with the onboard camera.
During setup, I wrongly inserted the SD card. Suffice to say, the card ended up where it shouldn't have: inside the camera. No, not "in" the camera...inside it.
I searched online, posted here and there looking for a fix and I found it. At least I thought I did.
I gingerly disassembled the camera and retrieved my SD card. When I reassembled the camera, it was transmitting a picture. However, it wouldn't pan up and down.
I reached out to Holy Stone Customer Service and was lucky enough to hook up with Selina.
From the outset, I was impressed with Selina's friendliness and her desire to help me solve my problem. She asked me a few questions and I answered them to the best of my ability.
I was shocked when Selina offered to send me a free replacement camera.
Remember, this was not a factory defect. This was my doing, my fault and Holy Stone was under no obligation to make it right.
But Selina did, and had ordered a new camera for my drone even as we chatted.
Thank you Selina and thank you Holy Stone for going the extra step.

Propellers are placed inside a cutout on the underside of the styrofoam box. Don’t look inside the styrofoam box where all the other parts are located, you won’t find the propellers there.

This is a very nice beginner drone for me. It has the features I need to feel confident with learning to fly my drone without the fear of loosing it or crashing it. I like the 1080P camera and follow me mode. I bought an extra battery because the battery life is about 15 minutes per battery.

I selected this drone due to the many positive reviews. Its a nice drone and was easy to assemble and learn to fly. Delivery was fast with Amazon Prime. It flies well and is fun but disappointed that the camera picture quality is not that great. Pictures are not crisp and areas of the pictures are washed out.
Follow up comments - contacted Holy Stone about camera issue - I followed all of the recommendations they suggested with no success. They offered to send a replacement part kit on 4/7 and a replacement camera on 4/17. To date I have not received either! I'm nearing the point of returning this product. The drone itself is very good but if you can't take a decent picture with it it defeats my purpose for having it.
Follow up 4/30. After e-mail discussion with June at Holy Stone she sent me a part kit and replacement camera. The picture quality is much better with the new camera installed. Happy with my purchase now :) I must say Holy stone stands behind their product!
