Solid Choice to Dip Your Toe in the Water

I uploaded a short clip to demonstrate what the footage with this drone looks like; I can't be sure that it will look the same after any compression from Amazon's servers, however.
This is a solid choice for a starter drone at this price point. I've actually used short clips for promotional footage for Facebook posts for my small business. I like that you don't have to have an SD card in the drone - it will stream footage that you can save to your phone. You can also fly with the remote alone, or with your phone alone (on-screen controls are available). I have stuck to the provided controller, however.
The footage isn't bad for hobby use. I used my cell phone and this drone to capture footage on a short hike with my grandsons. I wanted to bring something that I wouldn't regret losing or damaging, as there were many trees. Using Google Photos to stabilize the footage and generate a small movie works really well.
I have flown this drone indoors as well, without any problems. Highly entertaining with pets (unless they've got a nervous disposition, in which case please don't fray their poor nerves!)
If your expectations are realistic at this price point, you won't be disappointed. My only complaint is that the prop guards are really difficult to snap in. After a short while, I stopped using them, so it wasn't a big deal.
Conclusion: if you want to see if drones are for you, this drone is a good place to start.
