Takes great pictures! Using the app to control is much easier than the controller, I've found. It has way more attitude control. Love the case it comes with too!

This is my 3rd Holystone drone, they make great quality drone in affordable price. The kit contains carry case(great protection for the drone) and an additional battery. Together you will get about 20 minutes of flying depending on flying conditions. Since this drone is in lightweight category do not expect too much in windy conditions. Great camera quality. Flashing led light looks great in night. This drone has four speeds and also he can do flips. This is a value for money drone.
Good drone for beginner or experienced flyer at a good price!

I have purchased several Holy Stone drones in the past and I've always been pleased with their products. This drone is no different. It has good basic features a good price. It comes with a really nice case. And considering the price, that's pretty amazing. A cases can sell for $25 alone. It has a lot of nice features. But it has, to me, what is the most important feature especially for a beginner. It has "headless mode". Do not buy a drone without this feature unless you are experienced. This feature makes flying the drone so much easier. In case you don't understand it, "headless mode" allows you to fly the drone without keeping track of which way it's pointing. Pushing forward on the joystick always makes the drone fly away from you. And pulling back the joystick will make the drone come back to you. And left and right are similar. Without headless mode, forward on a joy stick will make the drone fly in the direction the cameras pointed. So if you have rotated the drone in flight, and it is far away from you so that you can not see which way it is pointing, this could make fying a bit difficult. It has other good features that come in very handy such as one touch takeoff and auto hovering. It is also very nice that the camera is adjustable in terms of the angle it is pointing. This is also very nice because if you want to take photos of the ground, it's nice to have a camera aimed down and not pointing forward. However you must set the camera angle before takeoff. It is not adjustable from the remote control during flight. Only much more expensive drones have this feature. It has other interesting features such as voice control, gesture control, and trajectory flight,. However I have not been able to test these features as I got it for Christmas and live in the Northeast. The weather has just been too cold and windy to do any prolonged flying. When the weather cooperates more, I will test these features out and update my review. I would have liked to have given this drone five stars because it is really nice, however I gave it four stars only because it does not have brushless motors. Brushless motors allow you to fly for more prolonged periods of time. Standard motors need to cool down after a long flight or they will burn out. Brushless motors are really great, but they cost more and it makes the drone cost more. So you get what you pay for. But on the whole this is a nice beginner drone that has great features that someone with experience will also appreciate. And I like Holy Stone. I think they make a good product and they definitely support their products with excellent customer service.

I got this for a Yule gift and after about five mins of reviewing the instructions (and a little help from my grandson) I got it trimmed and flying. Wind was an issue but expected. I love this thing great way to relax and enjoy some great family time. I will need to order more batteries for longer times out. In closing well worth the money and the memories that you will create.
