This mini drone is fun to play. It came with 3 batteries. It also needed 3 AAA batteries for the remote control.
I have tried at home with my kids. It flies, and responds well to the remote control. Even my seven year daughter flies it. It smashed to the walls of the house countless times without breaking into pieces; I would say it is sturdy. I would buy it again.

It is very easy to set up and operate this drone right out of the box. A great feature for a first timer is that the batteries are enclosed for protection and they are plug and play, this reduces or eliminates safety issues from rough handling. No special charger is needed, simply attach the USB cable to the battery and plug it into your power source (computer, power bank, or ac adapter), this is a great feature if you are just curious about drones and don't want to spend a lot of money or if the purchase is intended for a younger person not familiar with lipo battery charging. The collision avoidance feature is great fun for smaller children because they can steer the drone with their hands or just let it fly around by itself without knocking things over in the house (see video). I don't recommend flying outdoors without the controller set to at least medium speed, high would be best. Low or medium speed is best indoors for the beginner to learn and it will not be long before you can learn to fly at any speed. Although an extra set of propellers are included, I doubt they would ever need changing because the protective cages surrounding them keep the blades from striking objects that would cause damage. The enclosed propellers also give you the ability to grab the drone out of the air without damage to the drone or your fingers.
Overall it is a great little drone for beginners, it is built well, can withstand crashes and should last a long time. The cost is very reasonable for the durability of the drone, extra batteries and features, I would purchase again.

I bought this little drone for my Grandson that just turned 5, He has never laughed so much chasing it around inside the house, With Object avoidance on it will not run into walls or other objects and i feel its very safe to use around the house. Watch some videos on YouTube for this model becouse i think you will like it very much for such a small drone.

I highly recommend the deerc mini drone for any new beginner!!

As an avid drone user, I very much enjoy testing out new drones. This did not disappoint. For the very cheap price tag, the product was very comparable to much higher end drones. Certainly very easy to control as a more experienced pilot, so I have no doubt it will be a surmountable feat for a beginner. The app and connection process was quite hassle free, and I was impressed by the many options available! I can also attest to it’s durability when it comes to shock absorbable, as I may have made a few mistakes while piloting. Solid product, 5 stars.
