Great for young kids and easy to use

I wanted to gift something to my 12-year old younger brother who enjoys playing with the toys and especially airplanes are his favorites. Although, I was reluctant before as I thought he might not be able to control it properly and can break things around while playing with it. But, to my surprise, I didn't even have to explain him on how to use it. He enjoyed playing with it and I'd highly recommend it. It is safe, easy to use and really fun to play with.

This little HS190 is by far my most favorite drone; but I think that mostly because I can fly this one around in doors. The flight time is not all the long – but it’s definitely long enough to have some fun. I keep this one on my desk pretty much all the time and use for little “stress break” windows. It does take a little practice to get the hang of flying – but that’s mostly just due to its tiny size. The controller is a bit compact and it takes a little practice to get used to trimming while flying… but after a handful of flights you pretty much got it down. The drone does fold up and fit into the controller for portability – but the prop guards do not. I generally just leave it out and unfolded all the time with the guards on – let’s face if – if you flying around indoors – you are gonna hit something….

This drone is fun to fly and easy to setup. My husband gave our kids a quick lesson and now our 8 year old and 5 year olds are able to fly it. They love it. I love that the battery lasts long enough for each of them to have a turn and doesn't take too long to charge. It's nice that they can fly it in the house for entertainment while its raining outside.
Learning how to fly a mini drone is exciting.

Trying it out the first time was difficult but after lots of practice it got easier. My son loves it when we both try to fly it outside and tie a small string so it dosent go over the fence.

This drone is very responsive and responsible; if you practice seriously you will surely have some fun playing with this toy. I like this little drone a lot! Excellent toy for the price. I painted mine; just like a poison bee in flight now!

This is a great drone for young or older kids. Very stable and will stay at a constant altitude unless you move the joystick. It's also very easy for kids to fly it.
