My 7 year old son decided to buy this drone with his saved money from his piggy bank. I was nervous this would be a cheap cheap quality drone and he'd regret ordering it, but I was willing because those are the money lessons I want him to learn early on in life. It was almost all the $ he had saved. Well, we have no regrets! He LOVES it!! This thing has yet to break too! It has been flown into walls (early on in the learning curve) and stepped on in buckets of toys (oops! Lessons learned again!)....still not a thing to break. We love it! All around great purchase!

I enjoyed Holy Stone's battle drones (formerly laser 7) before I bought HS190 Quad-copter which gives me and the kids a lot of fun in safety. The reason I bought HS 190 was that I wanted to spend fun time with kids in my classroom. So, my biggest concerning is safety. HS190 gets rid of my concern quickly as I got ready to fly it. It just took about two hours to train myself as a pilot. The flight of the drone is very stable. Trimming function in the transmitter gives me quick adjustment of drifting. With just one or two times of pressing trimmer buttons are enough to take rebalance. Headless mode gives me another stable way of flying the drone because I don't have to worry about positioning myself same as in the pilot's direction. Spinning and flipping are attention-gripping functions for the kids. The functions always make "wow" from the people. Especially, I use spinning to hit and fall the ping pong balls in a game with people. One thing I want to share for betterment of the drone is the issue of battery life. About 5-7 minutes of flight time is kind of short. I understand the flight time of small drones. However, the battery is already installed inside the drone, I have to wait until the drone itself is recharged for about 30 minutes. This the difference from the battle drones which I can replace the new batteries in it anytime. If HS190 has a separate space for new batteries, we can enjoy longer flight time with the drone. Overall, HS190 is a great way of having fun with kids and there are a lot of ways to create games, for example racing, blowing or hitting soft objects to fall. I highly recommend the people to have fun with their kids with HS190.

This is quite a neat little toy, compact, portable and very durable but if needed easy to get replacement pieces for also has great battery life.

I got 2 of these and 1 was missing the battery covers and the front light on the drone didn't work. But they gave me a speedy replacement! The drones themselves are very fun. I got them for my nieces, but it really makes me want one.
