As a professional photographer I was interested to try a different aspect of picture-taking. It has added a new level of excitement and avenues of income!
Easy, great performance and control. Fun to fly!

Easy to understand instruction book, not too long, quick reference. Auto features allowed quick flying experience with intuitive control. 1080 camera excellent. Return to home & auto landing when battery is low is a great feature. GPS and wifi links worked reliably. Great product!
Great drone!

This drone is exactly what we expected for the money, and is as described. We haven’t had a chance to use all features, but so far it seems great! The drone is stable and camera is clear and functions well. My husband has flown some more expensive drones and those have been more snappy, but this drone is very similar is quality. Excellent drone for a beginner and well worth the price. Am giving 4 stars because phone wouldn’t stay well in mount if it has a case on it. We don’t feel comfortable taking our phone out of the case on a regular basis since being mounted on the control leaves more room for phone being dropped.
Customer service is great.

Customer service was great. Original battery was defective so they sent a whole new drone, battery, and remote. 4 stars because it took some patience and because the drone is nice and pics/ videos are great...but ylu can tell it's not a $900 set up. Great product for the price, great for beginners.
Great beginner Drone!!!

I won this as a gift through my office Christmas party raffle who purchased it from Amazon and all I can say is WOW. I love this drone. Very easy to fly. Setup was a breeze and the directions were easy to understand and follow. Love the GPS function and the built in sd record, however the reader and card both "malfunctioned" when i tried to view it on my Windows 10 computer. not a big deal as i have others I can use and I think most companies wouldnt includes these items for free anyways. I did have some issues with the camera when trying to move it up and down with the remote as well, but i was able to fix it.
The app is easy to use and straight forward and quality is very nice. I have looked at drones in the past and never purchased one because there are just to many to choose from and i was afraid to waste my money on a crappy drone and wasnt willing to pay the money for a really nice one without having experience. This was a best case scenario for me and I'm really excited to have this drone and will likely recommend it to everyone starting out with drones.
Though it says 16+ and i wouldnt recommend young kids to fly it unsupervised, my 7 year old was able to fly it no problem. with dedicated landing, takeoff and fly home buttons its really simple for anyone to operate.
Decent drone with good features for the $$

This is a good drone with plenty of power and ~15 minutes of flight time. The 720p camera leaves something to be desired in this day and age of digital photography. The gimbal control is decent and is goodfor getting the proper video angle. Press and HOLD the button to move the camera up and down the gimbal. The 1080p camera upgrade is worth it if you're into photography and video. FPV is... a... BLAST! Fly the drone while someone else wears the FPV for a VR experience... or wear it yourself for the perfect photo/video shot.
This is a great drone unless you plan to fly it over water (I live lakeside). I have found a scenario that will put the drone into a direct descent that cannot be aborted until it hits the ground (or in my case the water). Fortunately the drone bounces right back up (believe it or not on both land and water) and is immediately controllable. The battery is decent with a good LED level indicator. It only comes with 1 battery and replacements are not cheap.
Range is limited if using a phone connected to the drone via WiFi. I have not tested the range without the phone connected as it is difficult to calibrate the drone without the phone and if you're taking video or pictures, the phone is essential otherwise you're shooting in the blind.
I have stuck with Holy Stone for my intermediate drone purchases (as well as a couple of others) for their durability (it bounced off the lake and made it to shore!), cost, features, and customer support (Camille is awesome and responds pretty much the same day with a smile that shows through email. They even offered to replace a drone that I sunk in the lake but it was honestly my fault and I couldn't in good conscious let them do that. I'm moving to DJI for my personal hobby drone but that is apples compared to oranges. I have 3 boys ages 9-12 and will purchase Holy Stone drones for them for several models to come
