I like how look in the air ,but the battery don't last enough to keep flying ,need a Xtra battery to keep enjoying my flying

The HS100 has everything! HolyStone left nothing out when designing the HS100. It has a very stable GPS positioning system which allows it to remain steady even in moderate wind speeds. That same GPS system will return the drone back to its point of take off so there is no worry that it will fly away.
The smart battery features a low voltage return to home failsafe. It can be charged by any standard cell phone charging usb. You can even use a portable power bank to recharge the battery.
The controller is also a first for HolyStone and features a internal rechargeable lipo battery. No more AA batteries to purchase seperately.
The APP is very user friendly and allows for live distance, height and speed readings. Other APP functions include a beginner mode which is on by default and keeps the drone within 30m until you are confortable. Great for beginners!

A Holy Stone Masterpiece! I was excited to receive this bird as I own multiple drones from Holy Stone. The new HS100 is the best one yet. It is their first GPS drone and it does not dissappoint. From the premium packaging, the easy and minimal assembly and clear instructions, I had her in the air as soon as the batteries were charged. The main battery is very similar in design to the Phantom battery. It is very high quality with a USB charging plug. I wish there were two batteries included, however a coupon was included inside for a free extra battery. Get this as it will double the fun. This is the first controller I have with also a USB rechargeable battery battery. The downloadable app installed on my iPhone with no issues and quickly and easily connected to the drone. No issues at all. After the batteries were fully charged, I took them to the park and an was in the air in less than two minutes. The GPS found the satellites quickly and the calibrations were very easy. I started off in the default beginner mode which kept her close enough to let me figure out the flight controllers. Within two minutes I switched off the beginner mode and the fun started. The camera and video are OK at 720 though there are better 1080 camera drones out there in this price range if that is what you are looking for. The flight times are very good with the supplied battery as I got around 12 minutes of flight time. As an overall package, this is a very high quality, solid built, stable and beautiful looking drone that is easy and fun to fly. Highly recommended for both the beginner and advanced pilot.

I received my Holy Stone (Holy Stone GPS FPV RC Drone HS100 ) drone on August 4, 2019. This is my first review and have learned a number of what I think are helpful tips. I have flow the drone twice with no crashes or disasters and I find it fairly easy to fly. I have spoken to customer service twice and had no issues talking to someone who really knew what they were talking about and have helped me solve some issues. I give customer service 5 stars and I'm told they are there 24 hours a day. The first tip that helped me was in order to calibrate the GPS rather than turn the drone as the instructions show, turn your body around in a circle while holding the drone in the instructed position. That solved my first issue. The auto take off/land works great and are a wonderful feature. I used the auto-return home feature today and it worked exactly like it was supposed to but be warned, the drone really flies high on its way home which makes sense, but it was so high I got nervous. Once it does return it won't land on its own, you then need to push the auto land function separately. The video and picture quality is excellent. I was also impressed by how far my WiFi reached when flying the drone (using a iPhone 6). I purchased two extra batteries but found that the controller ran out of power about the same time as the first battery. The second time I went out I connected a phone charger to the controller but it still ran out of power. When I spoke to customer service today I learned that even though the controller shows no power on the app once I put in a new battery in the drone AND pair the controller to the drone again, it will show the controller with full power as long as I've been charging it. This should allow me to use all three batteries next time I fly. The drone is quite stable in flight and today the wind picked up some and I was still able to fly it. I still have lots to learn but so far so good, I'm pleased with my purchase. I will add additional information as I gain experience and will confirm if the controller recharge works.

My brother got me the hubsan x4 for Christmas and I loved it. I bought him this drone for his birthday in July and I would say it's amazing drone. Only "comparison" is that this one is slightly bigger, and more tech driven with the wifi app. But this means it drains battery faster than hubsan x4. Not disappointed but the battery life is way different. Hubsan x4 runs about 180 and this one about 220. If you want 20 minutes of flight time, with old fashion remote controller go with hubsan, if you want to fit in with the big boys and "look" like you have a 1500 drone, buy this holy stone. However, flight time is about 12 minutes max. Image on your phone is super clean. Wifi is great. Man distance about 500M and the hubsan is about 800 M (difference if about 3.25 football fields.) But do you really need to go that far out? Lol buy a1500 drone for that.
Very easy to learn and fly - highly recommend for first time drone purchase!

Very simple to set up from down loading app to flying the drone - only downside is15 minute fly time with a 3 hour charge time - Highly recommend multiple batteries to enhance the enjoyment of drone flying!
