My son always wants a drone, so I picked this "cheap priced" one to give it a try and yet it turned out great!

The drone is smaller than I expected, comes with two batteries and propeller guard. I got a bit confused at the beginning for powering on, which I thought I need to put the other battery onto the one inside the drone.

Other than that, the drone is easy to control, there is no additional/complicated syncs and configs before taking off.

Fun to play indoor for sure!! But not recommend for outdoor if you are a newbie, cause it can fly very fast and soon you don't know where it is.

I was amazed by this powerful little drone. I found it really easy to control and it even does 360-degree flips! My sons loved it so much I needed to get another one so they won't fight over it. Highly recommend!

Fun little drone for beginners, love the flip feature. Only wish it had a camera and the remote is a little bulky. But it’s great for $30.

Not as good as I thought it would be, but customer service is amazing.

7/24/2020 Update: Holy Stone's customer service is amazing, which is why I am changing my review from 3 to 5 stars. I sent a short video via email showing the 3D flip function does not work properly and they are sending me a new HS170. It goes to show that good customer service goes a long way and I am truly appreciative of it.
7/15/2020 All the reviews I saw on YouTube made me really want this little quadcopter, but after using it for a week I have to say it is not as good as I thought it would be. The range is very limited, so if flown remotely out of range it will no longer respond to controls and even the slightest breeze could make it drift away easily. I was fortunate to have found it the few times it happened to me. Also, the 3D flip does not work properly. When I press the flip button, it automatically does a back flip rather than waiting until I move the right control stick to determine which way it will flip. I will say it does have some power for such a tiny little thing, but I am overall underwhelmed with the performance. Sad, because I really wanted to love the HS170.

Comes with wing replacements. Very considerate.

Great toy for both adults and kids. We got this one for my son and surprisingly my husband liked it as well. It’s a bit fragile but it also comes with replacements of the wings. Easier to operate indoor than outdoor because of the wind.
